Someone smart please tell me what this means http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122385651698727257.html

All I could understand was that if you make more money you pay more taxes, so making more money is bad.

I was able to transfer 10% Iowan-ness to Destroyerj today by telling him that pigs are castrated by a well placed rubber band, until they fall off. He was properly disturbed.

So I'm pretty much converted. I love my Mac, it can do anything I want...including be Windows when I want to play a video game.

Speaking of video games, I've been playing a few different ones in my downtime. The Warhammer Dawn of War RTS with a few of my friends, and Titan Quest solo style. Dawn of War is basically a Warcraft 3 ripoff with a few cool changes and game modes. Titan quest is a Diablo 3 ripoff with nothing really new :)

Another cool program people should know about is Hamachi. It does some crazy LAN/VPN thing which basically means you run the program, create a password protected network, then join the same network with any other computers you have. So you want your itunes shares at work? Done. Want windows shares on your laptop no matter where you are? Done. Want to play video games via LAN with people in a different city? Done.

Other than that I've been taking a C++ course at work, and really enjoying it. It has inspired me to dink around with a few projects at home instead of whatever else I would be doing.

I bought a new intel powerbook last week. So far I've gotten both Linux and Windows running on it through parallels and it is quite sweet. Though I am ashamed to admit I do appreciate some of the gadgets OSX has. I have a feeling I haven't even found all of them yet :)

I'm appreciating the bonuses of having a laptop again as well...slumming on the couch or bed while browsing the web and *gasp* posting in Live Journal.

Anyways, I think I'll start using this silly journal again for posting random boring stuff, if anyone is a Mac Guru please let me know any must have stuff.

Also, AtmosFear rocks hard.
